Yearly Events

Every year your scout will have the opportunity to take part in the following events:

• Jan

  • Jamboree - the peak event, happens every 3 years - 10 days.

  • Bay Jam - a fun activity camp.

• Feb

  • Founders Day Raft Race - one day building rafts to race at Lilydale lake

• Mar

  • Canoe trip down the Murray

• Apr

  • Stradbroke Cup - Competiton Standing camp event

• May

  • Scouthike - competition hiking event

• Jun/Jul

  • Leadership Course - for anyone who wants to do it

• Aug

  • Fantastic Race - urban race on public transport

• Sep

  • Blly Karts/Cohen Shield - this is not really set here. It moves depending on leader availablilty.

  • Top Gear Scout - driving and camping and activities

• Nov

  • Gilweroo - An easy and fun activity camp
